2025–2026 Student Impact Mini-Grant Recipient!
AAUW Pennsylvania proudly congratulates Juniata College on receiving the 2025–2026 AAUW PA Student Impact Mini-Grant for their inspiring and long-standing project, the Sister-to-Sister Summit.
Launched in 1998, this annual event brings together middle school girls from several nearby school districts for a full day of mentorship, leadership development, and open conversation. Led by Juniata’s AAUW Student Chapter, the Summit pairs each participant with a college mentor and guides them through engaging workshops on self-esteem, body image, mental health, healthy relationships, and women’s participation in STEM.
The Sister-to-Sister Summit continues to create lasting connections between students and the broader community, embodying AAUW’s mission of advancing equity for women and girls through education, advocacy, and leadership. This year’s Mini-Grant will help the Juniata team expand their program, strengthen local partnerships, and develop new hands-on activities that promote confidence and belonging among young women.
The review committee praised the project for its outstanding alignment with AAUW’s mission and honored its strong collaboration with local schools, women-owned businesses, and campus offices, making it a model initiative for other colleges across Pennsylvania.
AAUW Pennsylvania celebrates Juniata College’s dedication to fostering confidence, collaboration, and empowerment among young women and looks forward to watching this impactful program continue to grow.
2025-2026 Student Impact Mini-Grant
The AAUW Pennsylvania Student Impact Mini-Grants for 2025-2026 launched October 6, 2025. We believe the work on campus to advocate for and educate students and staff on inequality is really important. We know that funds are tight, so some projects or events may not have the required financial support. AAUW Pennsylvania is proud to assist with these projects or events. Therefore, we offer grants up to $500 to any and all student organizations on a Pennsylvania college/university campus.
Last day to submit an application is February 15, 2026. But don’t wait until then, because grants are awarded first come, first serve until the budgeted funds run out.
