What is AAUW’s Legacy Circle and is it for me?
Many AAUW members elect to make personal donations to AAUW through their wills, estates, and trusts, ensuring that their commitment to AAUW continues beyond their lifetimes. If you have made this decision, you can join AAUW’s Legacy Circle, an affirmation of the importance that AAUW and its mission holds for you.
Currently there are 712 AAUW members in the Legacy Circle, of which 12 are from Pennsylvania. Current Pennsylvania Legacy Circle members are below; likely you will recognize many of them because of their leadership in AAUW.
There is no minimum required to join the Legacy Circle and you can decide to keep the amount of your future bequest confidential. You also can leave a gift to AAUW without publicly stating your intention by joining the Legacy Circle; joining is optional.
It is in your best interest to contact AAUW and speak to its planned giving experts to ensure that you structure any bequest so that it benefits you as well as the organization. There are many options to consider.
