SEVEN SPRINGS (www.7Springs.com) Seven Springs Mountain Resort, located in Seven Springs, PA, is an all-season resort. Activities available during the AAUW-PA Convention include the adrenaline rush of the Laurel Ridgeline Zipline Canopy Tour, the exhilaration of sporting clays, the stunning beauty and challenge of a mountaintop golf course, and the ultimate in relaxation at the luxurious Trillium Spa. Trillium Spa. Trillium is the place to relax, unwind and renew. Services include several forms of massage, facials, and body treatments (wraps – mud, algae, milk & honey, foaming polish, hydrotherapy); as well as salon services including manicure, pedicure, hair and make-up.
Hours of Operation: Sunday – Thursday 10 AM to 6 PM; Friday and Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM.

Mountaintop Golf Course. Challenging terrain and magnificent views. Measuring at just over 6,500 yards, the course takes maximum advantage of its mountain vistas and picturesque beauty of the Laurel Highlands.

Polymath Park is a 125-acre (0.51 km2) resort 60 miles (97 km) southeast of Pittsburgh, Duncan House is the only Wright house in the area that accommodates overnight visitors using Berndtson’s 1962 master plan for Polymath Park.

QUECREEK MINE RESCUE SITE (quecreekrescue.org) The Quecreek Mine rescue took place in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, when nine miners were trapped underground for over 77 hours, from July 24 to 28, 2002. All nine miners were rescued. ADMISSION $7
FLIGHTS 93 MEMORIAL (nps.gov/fini) The Flight 93 National Memorial is located at the site of the crash of United Airlines Flight 93, which was hijacked in the September 11 attacks, in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, about 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Schwenksville, and 60 miles (97 km) southeast of Pittsburgh. The memorial was made to honor the passengers and crew of Flight 93, who stopped the terrorists from reaching their target by fighting the hijackers. A temporary memorial to the 40 victims was established soon after the crash, and the first phase of the permanent memorial was completed, opened, and dedicated on September 10, 2011. The design for the memorial is a modified version of the entry Crescent of Embrace by Paul and Milena Murdoch.
A concrete and glass visitor center was opened on September 10, 2015,situated on a hill overlooking the crash site and the white marble Wall of Names. An observation platform at the visitor center and the white marble wall are both aligned beneath the path of Flight 93. Free Admission
