Equal Pay Day — April 4, 2017

Rally and Lobby Day at Pennsylvania State Capitol

The day started with a rally in the capitol rotunda.

Susan Vladika, President, Business & Professional Women PA started with the reading of the proclamation from Governor Wolf.

The 30 minute rally continued with brief speeches from notable organizations and elected officials.

Then AAUW members gathered in a conference room in the Irvis Office Building for lunch and a briefing before meeting with legislators. Twenty-three AAUW members from Bethlehem, Carlisle, Easton, Harrisburg, Lansdale, Levittown-Lower Bucks, and Pittsburgh were joined by three BPW-PA members for an afternoon of lobbying.
